Details

Because of Ethiopian politics, few coffees being exported are traceable.  This wonderful Sidamo lot is an exception and comes from a family run farm near the town of Michicha.  Each coffee cherry is selectively picked and dried inside the fruit on raised African beds.

Tasting Notes:

-Light Roast. Crisp fruit-like acidity carries into slightly chocolatey medium body with a long complex finish.

Suggested Brewing Methods:

    Bright, fruity

Review by Dan on February 13, 2013

I love natural process coffees and was excited to try this one. It did not disappoint. The fruitiness jumps out of the bag when you first cut it open. I have made this in a drip coffee maker and in two different pour overs. It has a nice bright start and as it cools the fruit comes out. I plan to get more.
