Not Neutral Lino Coffee Cups

Hard to believe that 2012 is already upon us!  We have lots of great things coming up.  We have been officially Fair Trade certified so watch for some exceptional Fair Trade coffees in the coming months.  While we go out of our way to assure that every coffee we offer is responsibly sourced and slave-free, Fair Trade Certification is another way for us to live up to our pledge.

Our Not Neutral Lino Latte, Cappuccino, Demitasse, and Coffee Cups arrived a few days ago and will be available shortly.  These are stunningly beautiful and elegant white porcelain cups that are built for commercial use so you know that they will last a lifetime with proper care.

Pour Over fans will be happy to know that the new Bonavita pourover kettles have just arrived as well.  They are similar to the Hario Buono kettles, designed specifically for pour over brewing, made of stainless steel, and are currently available in three types: Standard Goose-neck and Electric Goose-neck.  Bonavita is an American owned company as well!

If you have been wanting better drip coffee, but just can't get yourself to pony up the 3 bills needed to buy a Technivorm brewer, twenty twelve is your year.  Bonavita is also releasing several SCAA certified time and temperature controlled home brewers similar to the Technivorm line, but costing hundreds less.  These will be available mid-winter.

We have been testing every pour over method brewers we know of to find what we feel offers the best performance and results.  While we really like the results of many of the products currently on the market, we kept returning to the Chemex for its ease of use, great design, and consistently outstanding results.  These will be available in the next few days.

Our first Single Origin coffee offering is available. This outstanding Honduran Coffee is grown on small family farms in the high elevations around Lago de Yojoa, and processed at the beneficio San Vicente in the town of Pena Blanca.  The Mezcla lot is is an outstandingly complex and exquisite coffee.

We are working on labeling for our partnership coffee with the Love Without Boundaries Foundation, a truly amazing organization of volunteers who have come together to forever change the lives of thousands of orphans.  Every time you purchase this coffee, a minimum of 10% of the purchase price will be donated to the further their amazing work.

Much-much more is also happening, so check back often!  Thanks for supporting small business over the Christmas season!
