Processed at one of the oldest micro mills in Costa Rica, the Bonillia family Beneficio Don Mayo, this coffee was grown on the Cup of Excellence* winning farm La Loma.  We are enamored by how clean and refined this coffee is.  In fact, in our initial trial roast I ended up brewing and drinking an entire 12oz bag in an afternoon.  Needless to say I didn't sleep well that night, but this coffee has an irresistable quality to it that makes it hard to stop at just one cup.

Developed sweetness with notes of  brown sugar, vanilla, green grape, cashews & walnuts.  It is very balanced with medium body and sparkling acidity. 

*The Cup of Excellence is a yearly competition where coffees from a specific country are rated by an international jury then sold at auction.
